BIRDS OF PREY Overview
Four years after the Enchantress’s destruction, the Joker parts ways with Harley Quinn, throwing her out on the Gotham City roads. She is taken in by Doc, the partner of a Taiwanese café.
She recovers from her relationship by cutting her hair, embracing a spotted hyena (whom she names after Bruce Wayne), and taking up roller derby.
Harley becomes drunk at a dance club owned by Roman Sionis, a heartless evil master, and disabled his driver after said driver offends her. She meets show artist Dinah Lance, who later helps a drunk Harley from an attempted kidnapping.
Sionis is fascinated by Dinah’s battling skills and names her as his new driver. The following evening, Harley shatters the Ace Chemicals plant as an approach to openly describe her separation with Joker.
Then, GCPD Detective Renee Montoya investigates a progression of mob killings performed by a crossbow-employing vigilante. Discovering Harley’s jewelry at the location of the Ace Chemicals blast, Montoya takes note that Harley is in danger without the Joker’s protection.
She attempts to enroll Dinah as a witness, yet Dinah rejects the offer. Sionis sends Dinah and his evil right-hand-man Victor Zsasz to recover a precious stone inserted with the record numbers to the Bertinelli evil family’s fortune, who was killed years before.
Due to his amazing acting in the movie, he may be nominated in Oscar awards 2021 as the best actor. To watch live the academy awards 2021. Just stay tuned with us.
Young criminal Cassandra “Cass” Cain holds the precious stone from Zsasz and swallows it after being captured. Harley, hiding from Montoya and a few others she had violated, is caught by Sionis’ men. Zsasz educates Sionis that Cassandra has the precious stone, and Dinah warns Montoya.
Sionis grabs and makes Harley recover the jewel for him, under the threat of death. Sionis agrees, yet besides, he puts a bounty on Cassandra. Harley releases Cassandra, and the couple hides into the GCPD with various firecracker-motivated non-deadly explosive launcher rounds.
In the wake of going away, Harley and Cassandra bond while hanging out at the previous’ loft. Doc is moved closer for data by the “crossbow killer,” who is revealed to be Helena Bertinelli.
Having survived her family’s killing and getting trained as a professional killer, Helena has been focusing on every one of the criminals responsible for her family’s deaths, turning to the moniker of “The Huntress.”
Harley’s condo is later attacked by lawbreakers searching for Cassandra, and Doc sadly reveals that he sold Harley out. Harley calls Sionis and tries to turn Cassandra over in return for his security, agreeing to meet at a lonely event meeting.
Dinah tells Montoya of the meeting, yet her dishonesty is seen by Zsasz, who trains Sionis. A devasted Sionis wears his ceremonial mask from which he gets his name, “Black Mask.”
Montoya goes up against Harley at the park, yet Harley takes her out of a window. Zsasz shows up and sedates Harley before holding Dinah at gunpoint; however, he is killed by Helena, who reveals Zsasz was the remainder of her family’s killers.
Montoya returns, and a deadlock results until they understand Sionis has shown up with a small number of veiled criminals led to all as the False Face Society.
Using Harley’s old stuff, the low group effectively resist and repulse their attack. During the fight, Cassandra is caught by Sionis, while Dinah reveals her capacity for high-level shouting, defeating some of Sionis’ mobsters.
Harley gives an attempt on roller skates, and with help from Helena, the pair pursue after Sionis. At a close-by dock, the last encounter happens. Sionis plans to execute Cassandra; however, she pulls the ring from an explosive that she hid through his coat in the wake of taking it from Harley’s weapons case before. Harley loses Sionis off the pier before the explosive explodes, murdering him.
At the end of the devastating Sionis’ criminal field, Montoya stops the GCPD. Using the cash inside the records covered up inside the precious stone (which had been recovered from Cassandra), Helena gets together with Dinah and Montoya in setting up a group of vigilantes called the Birds of Prey.
Harley and Cassandra avoid, offering the precious stone itself to a pawn shop and going into business. In a post-credits sound grouping, Harley revealed a mystery about Batman; however, the film closes mid-sentence.

Birds of Prey set the bar for nuanced portrayals of female comic-book characters on the big screen.
Crooked Marquee (Roxana Hadadi) 13 March 2020
What Yan and Hodson achieve with Birds of Prey is the equilibrium that is now and then ailing in comic book films: They satisfy both the story’s requests and the characters’ requests.
The Australian (Stephen Romei) 20 February 2020
Robbie is the No. 1 Australian famous actor at present. I would watch her in anything.
New Yorker (Richard Brody) 16 February 2020
Under the film’s hyper-arranged style and generic activity, there’s a very decent film stressing to break out, making the misuse of its makers’ sincere efforts all the more frightening.
FilmWeek (KPCC – NPR Los Angeles) (Amy Nicholson) 15 February 2020
[Margot Robbie] herself is incredible. The activity movement is very acceptable. If I have bandy: it has most likely the most exceedingly awful needle drops of any film in ongoing history.
leonardmaltin.com (Leonard Maltin) 13 February 2020
Does the positive energy of a female-driven comic book film made by ladies make up for the agnostic, super-rough nature of its substance? Is this a stage forward for ladies, behind the camera and in the crowd? That is the problem introduced.
Austin Chronicle (Matthew Monagle) 13 February 2020
Regardless of whether Birds of Prey doesn’t waste time, it sure as damnation makes it turn.
Autostraddle (Carmen Phillips) 11 February 2020
It’s furious and unimaginably savage and notwithstanding its brilliant shading palette – maybe expectedly dim; it’s likewise soothing and victorious.
Metro (UK) (Larushka Ivan-Zadeh) 10 February 2020
The huge in addition to is that, not typical for the majority of the DCEU, Birds Of Prey offers great bubblegum fun.
Chicago Sun-Times (Richard Roeper) 10 February 2020
A bone-breaking visual blowout, loaded up with screen-popping sets and outfits, enough hand-to-hand battle scenes to cause Jason Statham to fume with envy, and an extraordinary troupe cast.
Times (UK) (Kevin Maher) 10 February 2020
It offers a hundred unique renditions of Robbie gurning to the camera – as a rule in the wake of slamming somebody’s head in with a slugging stick – and not a solitary second to hoist the procedures over a rough, screechy, inferior animation hotchpotch.
Detroit News (Adam Graham) 10 February 2020
“Winged animals of Prey” need to fly high, fueled by its wild youngster, rule-breaking soul. In all actuality, it never gets off the ground.
Observer (UK) (Wendy Ide) 8 February 2020
Following Martin Scorsese’s analysis of comic book films as amusement stops instead of film, it’s enticing to peruse Birds of Prey as a satisfyingly minxy rebound: it’s what could be compared to a carnival ride with all the jolts slackened.
London Evening Standard (Charlotte O’Sullivan) 8 February 2020
You don’t need to pick among Scorsese and superheroes. Relinquish the blame. Don’t hesitate to grasp these lesser-spotted flying creatures.

Come for the ass-kicking; remain for the takedown of assault culture.
Globe and Mail (Johanna Schneller) 7 February 2020
I know it’s silly to audit the film they didn’t make. However, under this clangy, beating, fast, slight, lively confetti-shower of a movie is an assortment of botched chances asking to be taken note of.
Boston Globe (Tom Russo) 7 February 2020
The title may trumpet Harley Quinn’s liberation, yet she again feels like a character caught in an unremarkable film, best case scenario.

However, it delights in a distinctively toned nervous energy that qualifies it for the elite class’s participation: comic-book films that closely resemble comic books.
Audience Reviews Of The Movie: BIRDS OF PREY (AND THE FANTABULOUS EMANCIPATION OF ONE HARLEY QUINN)
Margot Robbie makes a FANTASTIC showing in this GREAT film. A MUST see!
Winged animals Of Prey is a fantabulous show-stopper about the liberation of one Harley Quinn.
Generally engaging. Fun flashbacks, splendid tones, excellent camera work. In any case, the battle scenes took me too long, and the one in the funhouse was too senseless ever to be acceptable.
On the off chance that I could fit/recollect the names of every individual who dealt with this film, I would. Since they merit all the acclaim on the planet, this is a standout amongst other activity comic book films I’ve viewed in some time. Individuals with their biased biases didn’t give it a battling possibility and what makes me extremely upset is that they didn’t get it or Harley Quinn as a character.
It was screwing AWESOME! I screwing love all the characters; you don’t get all young ladies’ legend group that frequently, yet this film was AMAZING. Just so dismal that many men didn’t watch it, and backing it a reason for their pride haha, the most AMAZING FILM EVER!
It’s a film about a gathering of ladies kicking ass and ensuring their own. Is there any valid reason why you wouldn’t LOVE THIS MOVIE?
This was a pleasant film not made given the stereotioicaltypical fanboi, and I cherished it for it. Simply that clasp line made it great. They might have improved the baddies, yet in general, a pleasant film and better than the latest DC motion pictures.
Man, I needed to like this film; I honestly did! Yet, the one-note over-immersion of battle scenes (which were all extraordinary as independent elements) had me essentially yawning before the film was even half-finished. The expectation of what I thought was an undeniable development to the presence of The Joker at the peak was the cherry on top of an all-around over-cooked “let-down parfait.”
The characters in this film had such a significant potential to be in a hostage and engaging story. Instead, WB chooses to nail a strip to a heap of canine s**t.
Didn’t appreciate this film. I genuinely don’t comprehend the allure of this film.
Too, exaggerated film. The story was ludicrous in any event for the class.
Awful film. This film is just a “woke,” women’s activist, super Liberal film with a helpless plotline. The activity was abundant, however.
